I’ve been in the mood for some Fall since June and I am glad to finally be able to say I’ve found some shades that I’m loving and it’s giving 2014. Which for me is when I first became interested in makeup.
I’ve been finding that I love to do my makeup in the cooler months. Being that I live in Fl now, I’ve also found that I love the winter style aesthetic a little more. I gravitate towards the layers I used to wear in NY. Now it’s never cold enough for layers and if it ever is, I have to keep in mind the fact that I will have to remove most of those layers by 11am. Was it even worth it?
In addition to my style, I’ve been in the mood to create again. Doing a full face of makeup and going out or staying in has been at the top of my list, lately. It always feels good to listen to that inner voice.
I will say. I’ve missed a few days getting in my head, if I’m staying in and have a full day of housework to do. I haven’t been wanting to do my makeup, switching my mindset from this is a hobby to let’s make some money. I’m not only shooting a video, I’m producing. Publishing digital content while doing something I love. I’ve been clocked out for so long I’ve been struggling with this one.
But isn’t a Phoenix supposed to rise?
After rising from the ashes if the slump I’ve been in all year, I wanted an Ulta trip because the online shopping was only leading to more frustration, piling on like gas station slurpee.
In the next blog, I’ll share what items I found on my trip to our new Ulta Beauty here in St. Augustine, Fl.
But for now here’s the blush that was so beautiful the frustrating online shopping experience was so worth it.

Even though it arrived broken, I was still able to use to get this beautiful look. I was going out at night felt like my skin was so glowy. Let me know if you want the full rundown on the products I used for this look. I’d love to share!
